Flu Shot for 9 month old

I've done some research on it and I'm still 50/50 on it. My child isn't in daycare, he doesn't really go out much where he would get sick, so I'm like stuck on whether or not I want to give it to him since so much bacteria does go into him.

If you have been vaccinating your child I would like some input. Since it is flu season and our babies are coming up on their 9 month checkup, if you are offered the flu shot, will you be giving it to them?
