Anyone currently transitioning?

Any mamas who co-slept with their LO's have to transition them due to expecting another one close in age? How did it go/how's it going? I'm trying to transition my 11mo to his own bed bc I'm due in less than 2 weeks and it hasn't been fun.

Me! Our 14m old is still in my room and she is going to freak out when she has a new baby brother in 7 days! I literally don't know what I'm going to do she has always been in our room and not once in her crib in her room...I'm thinking I'll try to put her in the crib once the baby is home but she's never been alone in a room before otherwise we bought a trundle bed and her and her big sis will sleep together to make the transition less drastic. Kinda going to play it by ear I think.

Had exactly same situation 7 years ago, ended up cosleeping with both for 2 years 😂

Me! I weaned from nursing and cosleeping at 8 mos. I found out I was preg when he was 6 mos. now I am 40 weeks pregnant and my son is currently sleeping soundly in his own crib in his own room and has been for some time 😎 so glad with my choice! Ive been sleeping like a champ!

Yes 😰and I hate it. My lil one is 2.5 and o never used s crib with her or her 9 years old sis. But now I'm also having to buy a crib for baby #3 just in case many #2 doesn't fully transition out of our bed in time

We've been trying to keep our 2.5 year old in his room for same reason but he recently outgrew his crib so he's been making his way into our bed every night around 3am. I think maybe we'll have to keep the new bub in a bassinet by the bed and let the toddler come to us when he wants to. Poor second child.
