my fiancé might break off the engagement
Hi guys I need your help. So quick back story: two summers ago he had broken up with me so I got drunk and slept with someone, so did he. (Other than drunk sex, I don't even know this guy well, nor ever had feelings for him) But that was behind us and we obviously got back together and are now engaged. So that guy recently messaged me saying congratulations on the engagement. Trying to be nice, because I hate being rude, I replied saying thanks. Then he went on to ask me about how life is going and we had a simple conversation. Platonic. No flirting obviously. So anyway, last night my fiancé was on my phone and saw that I had been texting that guy. And now he's really upset with me and saying he can't even trust me anymore. I tried explaining that there was nothing wrong with the conversation. He said I should have never replied. He said girls text him and he never replies and deleted all their contact info to prove is love and commitment to me. And that I've now betrayed him and can't be trusted. But the texts weren't even bad!? I don't know what to do. Any advice?
