41+1 being induced tomorrow !!!

I will 41 + 2 weeks tomorrow and being induced tomorrow evening. Last week my cervix was still very high and thick but I was about 1 cm dilated and cervix was soft. This is my first baby so I'm a little nervous to be induced. In the last week there's been lots of pressure in my vagina and bum !! Always feels like I need to use the bathroom but I don't and I've had some contractions but lots of period like cramps, so hoping my cervix is doing what it needs to do and makes it a little easier time. Anyone been induced before ?!
