How soon can they schedule an induction?

I'll be 41 weeks tomorrow and I've been having contractions but I don't think they're serious enough to go to the hospital yet.  I have an appointment at 0800 tomorrow.  So if nothing happens by then I'm thinking of asking them if they can induce me tomorrow at my appointment.  My appointment will be at l&d is that makes a difference.

They usually schedule after your due date unless you have a medical issue. I dont see why they wouldn't since you're already a week past, but every dr/practice is different

I'll be induced at 41 weeks if nothing else happens first. Doxtor wouls like me to go naturally... but induction is what i feel will be happening

My OB is inducing me a week early. So maybe you just have to ask them their policy and see what they think about inducing you.
