so confused about CM and OV

Last Dr appointment suspected to have PCOS but she didn't say much. All she really said was my progestin was low cycle day 21 blood test then cycle day 3 everything was normal. FSH, LH all of it normal. Now about CM. As I get closer to ovulation, which I'm assuming that I am after being told cycle day 21 blood test that I might not be, my CM changes light to heavy, consisitancy changes just like any other normal ovulating women I suspect. Does this mean I ovulated? I had a large amount of CM during when I think was ovulation. Can you tell you've ovulated by CM? I'm so confused by these test results. Either I'm ok and I don't have PCOS or I do. No facial hair, normal weight and regular periods 28-31 day cycles. Thought please? First time I've heard about PCOS. She wasn't even my Dr. She was filling in my my actual OBGYN. Not helpful at all.
