breast milk
I've been pumping for a week now because my son will not latch. I have about a weeks worth frozen and planned to pump some more but I'm not sure I can take getting up in the middle of the night and having to pump every hour or two and the leaking is killing me. I soak nipple pads and it's just annoying and my breast hurt 24/7. I want my son to have a good immune system etc from the breast milk but not sure how much longer I can pump. If he was breastfed for a few weeks will that help his immune system and stuff or would he have to have breast milk longer?
