Birth photography?

Has anyone done this? Just wanting opinions. Im not exactly feeling the greatest about myself pregnancy wise. So i said no to maternity photos. But i really want first reactions for when my daughter arrives and was thinking about getting a photographer in for when shes being born?

Just wondering whats people's thoughts are on this?

I just had a family friend take the photos with her super nice camera. I had her get shots of literally everything... Which initially I didn't think I would want but I am so so glad to have them. Our shots are candid and beautiful and once in a life time...

I have no interest in paying tons of money for pictures where I'm sweaty, in pain, and tired. If I want a reaction shot my husband can take it on his phone. Or maybe a nurse

My sister in-law is a photographer and wants to do our birth story. I really want it, but am worried because i dont want anyone else in the room besides my husband and i, and i feel like having my s-i-l will upset my mother, so i am still trying to decide as well!

I did it with my first n have it lined up for this birth too. This person was a long term friend that has done our engagement, wedding, anniversary, maternity, and firsr birth photos! Shes amazing and will be there for this baby girl too! Here are some of them!

It's a cool idea, but it's not for me. Those moments are way to private for me.
