idk what to do!

My contractions are about 5 minutes apart and lasts almost a minute. They aren't painful, but do cause a little pain as well as discomfort. And when I have them I get extremely nauseous. I'll be 39 weeks on Sunday. this past Wednesday when I went to the dr I was 1cm and since then I've been feeling more pressure and contractions. It's so frustrating because idk if I'm in labor or not. The hospital I'm delivering at is 45 mins away and I don't want to go there just to be sent home. What should I do?
