is milk still good?

I pumped milk but forgot to put it in the fridge. It stayed out for 7-8 hours in a cool dark room. If it doesn't smell bad and tastes sweet, is it still good for consumption ? Because I know about the 4-6 hours in room temperature thing, I was wondering is that time frame when the benefits go away or is it the time frame milk becomes spoiled? Also, if it's still good, can I put it in the fridge after all this time  and have baby take it in the same day ?
