does having sex with another girl count as losing your virginity? I'm just curious because my girlfriend and I plan on having sex with each other soon and we're both virgins. So to lose my virginity do I specifically need to have sex with a man? Or can I lose it with a girl, no toys involved?

Since virginity is a concept in the mind and not a physical state of being, I think it's up to you and if you really feel like you have lost your virginity. I count my first time with a girl as having lost my virginity.

Virginity is more of a tricky subject. Some people say its when you pop your cherry, some say it's whenever you're first penetrated. .. In my opinion, if something goes in, and you consent, you're no longer a virgin.
