heavy bleeding during sex?

I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant. My husband and I just had sex about 5 min ago. We stopped because I was bleeding heavily. I've spotted before but this time his penis was covered in blood and so was the tissue I wiped with. It's been about 2 weeks since we had sex and I started having light contractions afterwards. Is this something I should be concerned about? Thank you!

Update. The contractions have stopped and the bleeding and my baby is kicking. Thank u for replying! 
Update. I called the doctor and she told me it's normal as long as the contractions have stopped and advised not to have sex for a few days. Blood freaks me out lol.

Go to the ER NOW. Light spotting would be normal but not heavy bleeding.

Yes, I would call the on call doctor or go to the ER. Could totally be normal but any red blood during pregnancy should be checked on

I'm 26 weeks and had this last night as well. I had clots and it scared the crap out of me. I can't have sex for at least 2 weeks and keep an eye on the contractions. ❤️ glad to hear your contractions stopped.
