Getting induced??

Question

Just left the hospital they said I'm in early labor dilated almost at a 2 contractions are regular but weren't strong enough not keep me. Question: I'm getting induced tomorrow on Monday at 40 weeks, 4:30pm... Will they still induce me now that I'm dilating?

Probably, because doctors want you to deliver quickly because it is more convenient for them.

If you're already in labor they don't need to induce. Depending on your provider, they may want to augment labor with pitocin if they don't feel like it's moving along after a while. But hopefully your body is getting moving just fine on its own. If you were supposed to show up at the hospital at a specific time, I'd call your doctor first to see if they still want you to come in.
