digital vs non

I am a crazy person and test way too early and a lot.. so I thought to save money I'd get pregnancy tests off of Amazon. I got both Ovulation and pregnancy tests. This month while using the opk, it wasn't showing any lines at all and I know I ovulat close to CD 14, so I bought digital instead and pin pointed when I ovulated. So now I'm using the tests for pregnancy and BPN. I know it's still early as Tuesday my period should come. But my question is, are the test strip tests not as good as the digital? I feel like I wasted my money on the test strip tests. 😒
