Breastfeeding/pumping

Kristin
I was told in the hospital that you should pump every 3 hours to build up your milk supply. I've found 3 1/2 months later that I produce between 24-31 ounces depending on how much I drink that day. Also I have help from fenugreek and brewers yeast. Now with that being said I feel as if when I pump every 3 hours I only get 4oz between both breast and if I wake another hour I produce more. I guess my question is does it hurt to wait another hour before you pump?
