When will you start pumping?

I am due Nov. 30th and I have been wondering what other Mamas out there have done or will be doing in regards to pumping their milk. How long did you wait to start pumping after birth? Two weeks? A month?

I'm gonna start when I get home. From my research you don't need to wait any so I'm going to start when we get home so much husband can feed her too

I started pumping three days after my baby was born. He is tiny so I'm breastfeeding and then topping up with expressed milk (my husband feeds the top ups). Pumping also helps to increase your supply so there's just more milk.

I don't want to accidentally create an over supply issue, so I'm going to wait until there is some semblance of a "schedule" (probably somewhere between 4-6 ish weeks) and then will do one or two pumps a day at the same time each day (timing then at same time will lead to better production over the long term bc your boobs learn that it is consistently expected at that time everyday)
