Breast feeding

So I plan on breastfeeding once my son is born in January. Well now that it is getting closer my mom is kinda counting me out and asking me if I really think Im going to be able to. I know she isn't doing it to shame me or anything like that. She's just worried about my mental health, also being a rape survivor if I am going to be able to handle that.. At least wanted to try and I knew that was a concern for my doctor and psychiatrist. I kinda don't even want to try anymore. 😞 Any other mommas have similar experiences?
