Lump between leg and groin?

I have a hard lump in between my leg and groin area. It's a little painful to the touch, and it almost feels like a ball underneath my skin. It's been a month and it won't go away. I shave my bikini everyday, could this be the reason? I'm too embarrassed to go to the doctor.

Never be to embarrassed to go to the doctor, you should always give something a week or 2 to go away if not then yes you should go to the doctor never know what it could be.

I had something similar, thought it was an ingrown hair but it ended up being a cyst. No big deal, it "burst" which was a little gross. The dermatologist said it was totally fine and she injected it with steroids just to be sure it cleared up completely (but said it would be fine without). Wouldn't hurt to have the doc check it if you're worried!

You have lymph nodes in that area. They can become large due to infections. Even an infected belly button piercing, or infected hair follicle can cause this. Antibiotics can clear it up. But you dont know for sure until you Go see your doc.

Yes I believe I had this! Can't remember what the doctor exactly called it but something along the lines of a blocked duct. Took antibiotics and it went away.
