Tuesday, September 20th- first day of last period 

Friday, October 21st- positive pregnancy test 

Thursday, October 27th- went to ER for brown spotting (first pregnancy, didn't know this was normal). My hcg levels were @ 3,149. They told me since my hcg levels were high, they should be able so see something, but didn't. They thought it was an ectopic. So I left, and was just going to call my OB the next morning. 

Friday- October 28th- ultrasound showed gestational sac only measuring me at 5 weeks 1 day.

Friday, November 4th- another transvaginal ultrasound measuring me at 5 weeks 5 days. Only gestational sac, no yolk sac or baby 

Tuesday November 8th- ultrasound, still no baby, or yolk sac, hcg levels at 13,000.

Thursday, November 10th- ultrasound, still no baby, hcg levels only rose to 16,000. Doctor ruled it a non-viable pregnancy. I wanted to try and pass it on my own, so he is giving me until November 22nd, then I go in for a d&c. My doctor says it is a blighted ovum. 

I was wondering if anyone has experienced a blighted ovum, I've read so many articles where the doctors misdiagnosed women with blighted ovums, and two weeks later a healthy baby with a strong heartbeat. I'm just heartbroken with this being my first pregnancy, and I was so happy and overwhelmed to have a baby. I'm not even 8 weeks yet according to my LMP.
