gaining weight!?

I've been counting calories for over 2 months and I went to weigh myself today and my SO's moms house and her scale said I gained 10 pounds!😱

1.) weight isn't everything. Throw your scale away and focus on size, health, and how you feel

Counting calories only helps if you're also watching what you eat, protein source and fat percents. If you're working out you'll gain before you start losing. The scale shouldn't be what matters, it's the physical differences.

How many carbs are you eating? Carbs make you retain water. I highly doubt it's muscle you've gained if you've only been at it for two months. Muscle takes awhile to build and two months wouldn't be long enough to gain 10 pounds of it, unless you're working out MASSIVELY. Go buy a tape measure and go off that instead of the scale. It's way better at reading results. Make sure you're not overeating calories. Count EVERYTHING. Even drinks. Good luck!:)

If your working out you usually gain due to muscle which is good cause the more muscle your body has the faster your metabolism and faster your body burns fat.Cut sugar out of diet and eat low carbs high protein..Sometimes your bidy reaches a plateau when working out so you got to change up your workout cause your body gets use to your workouts and stop responding. .so mix it up...i usually find an hour of cardio and an hour of strength training very effective.Eat your biggest meal at noon and at dinner eat a snack.Good luck you sound determined i know youll get there

Go by inches in pants and skirts and shirt sizes going down, not what the scale says. Also what I have always heard is to weigh yourself in the morning, before eating and after going to the bathroom and that's the weight you should go with.

You need to weigh yourself at the same time every time you do it and on the same scale for accuracy

All depends on what type of food your eating. You can consume 1000 calories in pizza every day and you probably won't lose much weight. Cut out processed foods and CARBS, meaning breads, pastas, sodas and such completely. I lost 25 pounds cutting out carbs.
