help idk what's going on

So my boyfriend and I have been having sex without protection and most condoms break so I decided to get birth conrol. Before that tho I started my period on November 1st with a very light flow the first two days. I started to take the pill on Sunday and stopped taking it Thursday because I was feeling very depressed and not myself at all. Now I'm on my period again!! It's been twice with one week in between. Could this be because of the pill? I did some research and it said it could be an infection or pregnant. . . Idk what to do
