I don't which status I am

I went to date with one guy now is going to be like 3 months since we date, we already had sex but we are not yet in relationships, I was ask him what is our status? Then he told me that we are more than friends but not yet in relationships then after he told me this I asked him back like we are "friends with benefits " ? Then he say " No"

I'm getting a little bit confused now. Anyone can you help me? Which status I am ?
