I've been seeing this guy for several months and he says he may never want marriage and kids (He is 31). I for sure want those things. Do I leave him and find someone with similar goals or stick with him and take that chance?

I feel like these are the types of situations that people get themselves into & then make themselves miserable trying to change that person. If you already know what you want & he's telling you it's not what he wants, it's best to keep it moving. Unless, you are willing to accept that he may never marry you or give you children. Is that something your willing to live with?

My brother has never wanted children, he's 37 now & still doesn't, he actually had a vasectomy a few years ago, he has had 3 girlfriends who @ 1st said they were fine w/ no kids but eventually changed their tune & tried to get him to change his mind, it just ended up being super painful & heartbreaking for both sides. Do yourself & this guy a favor & move on before u get more serious.

That's up to you. If he's 31, he's definitely had time to think about it. People's minds can change, but when it comes to long term important goals such as those, then it's better to address the difference now than to grow attached and still have to face those same issues. Talk to him about it? And make a decision.

Leave. It's not fair to him if you stay and try to change him, and it's not fair to you to stay and never get what you want. There's plenty of other guys who'll be able to give you those things that actually want them

It's important to be with someone who has the same goals as you do. If you want marriage and kids then you should find a man who wants those things as well. Those are two really important things that will be hard to try and work through, neither of you will be satisfied and happy if you both want different things.
