I'm 8 weeks pregnant and found out that I'm a heterozygous carrier of Factor V Leiden (a blood clotting disorder). I know this can be dangerous for me and my baby but the only options for treatments are daily blood thinning injections and/or an aspirin regimen. I'm worried about how these drugs will affect my baby, does anyone have experience with a similar situation? Any stories/ advice would help!
