Can a baby sleep too much?

My baby is 9 days old and all she does is sleep. She will wake up and cry every 2-3 hours to eat but she falls back to sleep as soon as she starts nursing. She will eat for 10-15 mins (sometimes longer) but her eyes are closed the whole time. She rarely wakes up during a diaper change. If she does she falls right back to sleep as soon as I pick her up. She even sleeps through her spongebaths. Is this normal or should I be concerned. She does wake up once a day for about a half hour to an hour but that is it.
