Clothes for hospital

Just curious to hear from those of you who have gone through L&D, what did you pack to bring to wear after? I've heard mixed things. Some say a nursing nightgown because it's easier for nurses to check you, others say nursing pajamas because wearing a gown can get messy from the bleeding. I'm a FTM and totally lost when it comes to this. Any tips would be great!
