Okay this might sound silly, but when I was about 14 years old, I fell asleep at my friends house and all my "friends" who were awake thought it would be funny to shave the thin, see through hairs on my belly because they knew they would grow back dark. Well ever since then I have had thick black hairs under my belly button, like boys do, and i have to constantly pluck them because shaving leaves black dots and hair removal cream doesnt work on it. I have many scars under my belly button where some hairs have ingrown and caused blisters and spots that scabbed over, im so self consious about the area. Anyway, when I was in labour, a nurse said to me "have you been plucking those hairs" so obviously im not the only one, and she told me once i give birth and the placenta comes out, to pluck them again and they wont grow back. I did exactly that, and none of the thick black hairs have come back! I never thought it would work, i am confused why it wouldnt work with any other hair though? Like my leg hair still came back etc?
