Vitamin D supplements??

Question

I'm wondering if anyone has taken vitamin D supplements along with their prenatals during pregnancy. I take them for my skin (it helps acne so so much) and I just worry that it could be bad. I've read a lot of articles and there's mixed reviews. Going to ask my Dr but want to hear others stories!

I do and have been since probably trimester one. I'm 7 months pregnant. My doc recommended I take vit d as my levels were low. The nurse I spoke with said most people are vitamin d deficienct. And she said I'd probably need the supplement the rest of my life. I'm not worried. I didn't look into the matter. I take my prenatal and vit d at night. 
I also just started an iron supplement due to anemia. That I take in the morning.

I take an additional 2,000 mg of vitamin daily because my vitamin d levels are low. My OBGYN says there are new studies now that show vitamin d affects the baby positively.. but everyone is different! Wouldn't hurt to ask your doctor.

I do.  I have been taking two drops twice daily through an eye dropper. It also has huge immune boosting benefits, too.

I only give my daughter vitamin d when she doesn't get 20 minutes of direct sun on skin exposure. I don't take it myself because I get a lot of sun.
