About an hour after taking the test I rechecked and it looks positive. I set it to the side because I knew it wouldn't show right away and didn't want to be anxious. I haven't missed a period yet. eve says it should be coming at the end of the month. I've gained about 10 pounds and have been very emotional.

A test is only meant to be checked during the time frame written on the box after that any result is invalid. This positive is likely due to evaporation because you can see that neither the control or test line are solid and if ever the control isn't a solid line the test is defective. Retest closer to your period and make sure to follow the directions on the box if you want accurate results
