heartburn=hair myth or facts. was it true for you?

my mom had no heartburn with all 3 pregnancies and we were all born with a head full of hair. so i don't really believe this old wives tale but was it true for you?

There have been a few studies linking heartburn to hair, but not enough for it to be considered fact. It's a little more true than the typical old wives tale, but it's still not common enough to state it as fact

My husband read that it could be linked because the same thing that causes heartburn also causes hair growth, so more of one means more of the other! Most of the time. He told me this to make me feel better about my heartburn lol

I would get heartburn just thinking about water with my son. He was born with a full head of hair.

I had gerd before pregnancy so it's hard to say if my babybhas hair bc of heartburn or if i had hearburn bc of gerd and baby pressing on stomach.

With my first I had heartburn throughout my whole pregnancy and my daughter was born bald and had very little hair until she turned 2. 
This time I didn't get heartburn until the third trimester but it was way worse than I had with my first and she was born with a lot of dark brown hair.
