Okay so my boyfriend got arrested...... below is a picture of his arrest record or whatever it's called. I don't know what to do, can anyone help me, or explain how long he will be in there for and how long he'll get convicted for? Please I'm shaking and freaking out and I don't know what to do. This is his first offense, do you think he'll get of easily? And I'm assuming the weapon he had was his stupid hatchet. Please help me I don't know what to do. We were fighting before this happened.

You have to wait a while maybe he's able to get bailed out, but it's gonna take time. You think he'll call you?

All you can do is wait and hope for the best til he contacts you. If the judge grants bail then he can be released from jail til his court date. Unless he doesn't get bail he will be in jail til his court date. If he decides to have a lawyer or just have public defender (provided in court). His lawyer or public defender will know what his options are. If he could plead not guilty if there's not enough evidence case can get dismissed. Or also can get a plead guilty bargain usually gets lowered and if it's higher up felony possible probation. If he does have to do jail time. He can call you from jail you just have to put money into your account through your phone. Also you can write letters and you can also visit him. Look up for your state what the sentence is but in most states a class 3 felony is 2-5 years in jail.
