Dark vaginal veins?

So my hair on my legs and lower extremities grows at a very slow pace during this pregnancy. I was shaving "down there" and noticed a have what looks like one dark vein about half inch long on my left labia (majora). I investigated down there and noticed the whole area is darker (which I knew it would be since this is pregnancy number 2), but there are some very dark veins in the minora too. I'm guessing just varicose veins from the pregnancy, but does anyone else have experience with these?

I have vulvar varacosities. This is my 3rd pregnancy and 2nd pregnancy with the veins. They can become very paintful and they will come back earlier with each pregnancy. I had them at about 25 weeks with my last pregnancy and this time they came back at 12 weeks. If they become painful for you, I highly recommend going on Amazon.com and ordering the V2 Supporter. It's not sexy or super fun to wear and basically looks like a female jock strap but it helps SO much with the pain and pressure. It's a night and day difference for me from when I wear it and when I don't. Just a little tip. :)

I have them-- mine bulge out a lot, it's kind of crazy. They showed up around 22w. I talked to my obgyn about them at my 24w appointment-- she took a look & basically said it was totally normal & "those are pretty minor" 😳 They are apparently called vulvar varicosities.
