long story...mysterious bumps..need advice
Ok. This is long. Please bare with me cuz I really need opinions/advice..rewind back to May, I woke up one morning and found a bunch of red bumps on the front part of my legs ONLY. I work in a hospital so I immediately jumped to the conclusion of bed bugs. These bumps or bites, only itched a tiny bit off and on and eventually went away after a few days. My fiancé who obviously sleeps in the same bed as me never got a mark on him. We called a professional exterminator business to come to our home and examine. They tore my mattress apart, checked all the bedding, pillows and seems and most cracks and crevices and determined they could not find any evidence of bed bugs. So time went on and I never noticed any more bumps or bites.
Fast forward to today, May was 6 ish months ago, and today I wake up with the same kind of bumps or bites that I had before. I still work in a hospital. I have no idea what is going on. They don't itch really at all except for the fact that I'm thinking about it so much it's making me itchy all over. My fiancé still has no bumps or bites. I don't get it. If we had bed bugs, wouldn't I be getting bitten a lot more than this? And why would it go in a 6 month interval? I posted the pics of my legs on this fb group for nursing assistants (that's what I am) and I'm getting a whole mix of reviews. Some say yep it's bed bugs, some say it looks like fleas and others say scabies. I've googled pictures of all of the above and I personally don't think what I have looks like any of that. I do have dogs, I have only ever found 1 single flea on one dog maybe 2-3 months ago and the house and all dogs were treated in case there were any more. I'm thinking I just need to go to the doctor but it's the weekend and I'm afraid by Monday these bumps will probably be gone..and it seems silly to go to the ER for this.
Can anyone give me any advice or insight?! I'd really appreciate it. And plz excuse my hairy legs. I haven't shaved in like two weeks.

UPDATE: almost 3 years later lol, I ended up going to the doctor and they said they were infected hair follicles. If I remember correctly they gave me a cream or ointment. Never got them again.
