confused friend

So my friend has changed a lot over the past year, she cut her hair boy short and changed her whole style (not that I have a problem with that), but we have become more distant. Maybe I feel like shes changed too much. She seems to have an "obsession" with the lgbt community. She follows many people of the group. Not that that's bad, it's just different. Not many people that I know do that. Do you think she might be a part of the lgbt community?
