Is anyone suffering BAD acne during pregnancy? HELP !!!!!

I am almost 8 weeks pregnant and I feel so ugly ! I have never in my life experienced anything like this on my face 😔 I went to the dermatologist and they prescribed me clindamyacin & Keflex. It is not helping ! Any tips or advice ???? Please help ! I want to be glowing and beautiful like I was with my son...I can't even be excited about pregnancy because my face is so painful & swollen and broken out😔🙏🏼

My acne is terrible... I've always had acne and later in high school it finally went away. I get married and pregnant and now I have it all the time 😢 nothing helps either... They say if you have acne though it's a girl and I'm having a girl so there's that to look forward too!

After about 12 weeks it should get better if its bad now ask your OB about it

Just put tooth paste on every pimple before you go to sleep. Dries it out completely.

My friend had developed terrible acne during her pregnancy but it cleared up as soon she had her kid.

I got acne too during my first trimester but in the middle of my second trimester my skin became unbelievably smooth and clear for the rest of my pregnancy.

I think it just depends on how your body reacts to the hormones.

It's from the hormones so a face wash won't help you very much. I broke out before I tested positive and it eventually went away after a few weeks

My acne was terrible!!!! On my face and even worse my back and shoulders. I purchased belli body wash and spot treatment and it's the best! I got it from Amazon but I also seen it in buy buy Baby.

I also had horrible acne that early. I don't think there's really anything you can do to relieve it since its hormones unfortunately. I still get them every once in a while. XD

I had bad acne in early pregnancy and by week 21 or so it cleared completely. My skin has been perfect since. Just be consistent in your skincare routine, try to avoid any irritating products, don't overwash, and know that it will ease up!!
