reverse vasectomy and fertility
Hi. My husband had a reverse vasectomy in mid August. The doctor found sperm in one side only but gave us good chances. His original vasectomy was 2 years and two months to the date of the reversal. We are both in our early 30's, with no previous children. I don't know if I'm fertile and since I've been tracking my cycle I've noticed it's 25 days this month and 30 days two months ago.
Basically, I'm wondering if I should get a fertility test somewhere. My husband needs a sperm analysis next month, so I thought I could go in and check my fertility too. I am getting freaked out thinking I might be infertile, as I've never even had a "pregnancy scare." I'm also dealing with all the worries about if it worked or not. Our relationship is in a good place after a lot of struggle over this. If we can't have kids naturally we will foster to adopt and help a child who needs good parents (will likely do this anyway on principle). Still, I hope to get pregnant naturally if possible. If anyone has good news or stories to share about successful reversals or info on how to seek fertility testing, please share. I'd be grateful! Thanks :)
