How did you find out you were expecting ? 💕

I found out I was expecting in October 2016 I was surprisingly shocked and the reason for that is because I suffer from ovarian cysts always have and I got put on birth control nexplanon implant for two years and took it out in August 2015 and had been ttc ever sense knowing I couldn't get pregnant due to so many cysts .. I tried ttc for exactly a year and one month so I conceived sometime in September but didn't go d out I was pregnant till October 6 and by that time I was 3-4 weeks anyway before I took my pregnancy test my husband told me he had a dream I took a test and it said positive and I joked around saying he's dreaming it won't happen lol but after that. Comment it got me thinking my last period had been September 8th and I was due anytime I never had my period , I had sore breasts , was Constipated and I normally get the shits before (af) and I was super tired I had a craving for more water intake as well so on October 6th I took a test and it was positive I couldn't believe it I got it confirmed and now I'm having a happy baby so far I'm 11 weeks exact today I'm due June 12, 2017 💕

My period was late for 22 days and my best friend kept telling me she was going to be a godmother and I kept denying it all. Complete denial. Then I had a horrible asthma attack that left me unconscious and I was in the hospital for a few days and my husband never left my side. I woke up on my birthday and he was just elated and I eventually asked him why he was so happy and he said "because you're both okay now." and I said "both?" and he put his hand on my stomach. The best part was that my best friend had also found out she was expecting while I was unconscious so it was a very happy birthday for everyone.

My guy told me I was pregnant over & over for a week. I was only 10days late & didn't think anything of it. I made him buy 4 more tests after the 1st BFP! 💙 Baby A.J. should be here within the week!!!

Before I missed my periods, I went to the dog park with my pups as usual and there is a female dog that usually is very scared of me and avoids me like the plague who came and sat on the bench right next to me and stared at me for like 3 minutes. I was like ok that's weird, something must be going on. Sure was haha !

I wasn't even late. I was waiting for my period to show but my symptoms were completely off. Like extreme breast soreness, upper back pain instead of lower, cramps that last for literally like two seconds all the time but no bleeding, and then the final straw was when I almost fainted in the shower. I got my BFP with a digital test the day before expected AF.

I suffer from PCOS, so it was very hard for us to get pregnant! I wanted to try it natural with no drugs as long as I could stand it! After 18 months I just was getting frustrated because I never knew if I was pregnant or just not going to have a period that month. Well, we had FOUR couples we are friends with tell us they were pregnant! On August 13th we were at dinner and our friends had just told us they were pregnant. I told my husband "We are NEVER going to have a baby. It's just not going to happen for us." Then told him after dinner to run me by Walmart because I felt my period coming on and needed my monthly supplies. Well the pregnancy tests are right next to the pads and tampons so I bought a box like always. Got home at 9:30 that night and went upstairs and just had an urge to take a test. I was expecting it to say not pregnant as it does month in and month out. I look down and it said pregnant! I was in such shock I almost fell over!! I ran downstairs SO fast and immediately showed my husband! We couldn't believe that we were actually having one of our own! We both cried and stayed up all night talking about everything! I'm now 18 weeks and everything has been great!

I was 7 days late with ridiculously painful breasts. Took a test to rule it out (hormone issues give me irregular periods) and bam. I sat on the floor in shock for about 15 minutes.

I had gotten my nexaplon taken out two months prior and my cycles had not regulated at all yet, I had only had one period since I bled after having it removed. We weren't exactly being careful because...we suck and I kind of just thought "well I probably haven't even ovulated since having it removed yet, I'll probably know, blah blah". 
I got a really terrible yeast infection, my boobs hurt soooo bad, and I was super bloated, I remember feeling just super full in my lower abdomen and I really, genuinely never thought about pregnancy, I thought it was my period coming on- it was sort of due, but like I said I was irregular. So I made an appointment with my OB. When I got there, the nurse was asking me questions about my last period and my symptoms, and she was being super quiet and short with me (now I see that that is because I was obviously pregnant and sitting there telling her I definitely wasn't pregnant I just needed to start my period and blah blah). So she had to pee in the cup and then quietly walked me to my room where I sat and thought about everything other than possibly being pregnant, I was in such deep denial! Then the doctor came in and yelled before she even closed the door all the way "well, everything has changed now, you're pregnant!" I was sooooo shocked!! It was like my brain had kept me from even thinking it. She was really surprised that I didn't even think it was possible, lol. I wasn't prepared at all! I didn't even really believe it until she took me to ultrasound for dating and yeah, there was a little baby thing in there! My poor SO got a text from the waiting room. He kind of knew though, he kept trying to ask me to take a test and I was like no, it's not that, I just need to start my period! Lol. I felt really stupid after that visit.

I found out going to my doc for my yearly pap and asking to do further tests to see if we were able to make children together. Couldn't go further than my pap smear because the pee stick came back positive for a pregnancy so that answered my question. Lol
