Bleeding piercing?

Can someone tell me why my ear is bleeding where my piercing is? This just started yesterday.

when did you get it pierced? what kind of metal is in it? have you recently slept on it or knocked it?

Depending on how long you've had the piercing it could be different things. New piercing- still healing. Old piercing- something could have gotten into it etc. My upper ear piercings get this occasionally. I just use ear cleaning solution or contact solution and twist them for a week to 2 weeks and they're fine.

Cartilage piercings are always so temperamental.. I had both of my top cartilage pierced for like 3 years and if my hair got snagged or I bumped it too hard it would become agitated and sometimes bleed.. just the type if area it is
