help! baby wakes up many many times during the night!

Hi mommies! I would like to have your opinion / suggestions. Marko (6  months tomorrow ) is waking up 4 /5 times during the night, crying. Most of the time he wakes up because of gas. To settle down back I usually feed him because it's the fasted way to put him back to sleep. But I can't continue like this. How do you when your baby is waking up in the night? How do you settle him back?
