Wait until birth to find out baby gender or find out now?

Question

I was planning on not finding out the baby's gender until birth but now I am having second thoughts... Did anyone find out one child and wait for the other child and can give me advise on if it was worth the wait? Thanks in advance 🙂

We didn't find out with #1 and I'm 36+3 with #2 and we don't know the gender. I will never find out. I think it's kinda lame to find out.

I could not do it. More power to the ones that can. I never saw the point of it. .. just for the "surprise " element at the end? Nah, I'm good...I found out at the 12 weeks NT scan visit, via harmony blood test. I knew most of my pregnancy I was going to have a girl and it gave me time to buy everything,  custom make stuff and the more I bought stuff for my girl, the more and more excited I got about her due date...I see no "excitement " in waiting in the dark till she comes out of me....

We have a number of friends who found out for one and waited for the other and they all said it was a way better surprise when they waited til birth.

My husband and I are waiting. While we can't get gender specific things, we will be purchasing / being gifted neutral items that can be used for every baby after this one (within reason).  I can't wait.  That and I feel it will be more meaningful to have my husband tell me the gender once our little one arrives. Best of luck on whatever you decide!  You really can't go wrong :)
