What the heck?

So I went to the ER a week ago with bleeding after I got my positives. I would be around 5 - 5 1/2 weeks now. My Beta was 42 then. Bleeding went on from Thursday to Saturday and stopped. No clots and very slight cramping. I went back this Monday and was told I was only at 108 with my Beta so I had a miscarriage. I told the nurse I had no clots and my bleeding was never heavy. Maybe one pad a day at most not even soaked but I changed often because it grossed me out. But she insisted I had a miscarriage. I took this test this morning as it was my last. I'm supposed to go back Monday to make sure my levels have dropped and the nurse told me they would be. But why is this test so dark? My tests have gotten a lot darker. I'm so confused. Advice?
