I'm scared ( NuvaRing)

So I got on Nuva Ring about a week ago and within that week I started bleeding. This was odd because the Dr said I was suppose to start my period after 3 weeks of using the ring. I called the Dr and he just said it was normal to spot during the use of Nuva Ring...but I thought to myself this isn't "spotting" this is right on heavy bleeding. So I decided to wait it out to see if my bleeding would stop. Now recently, my stomach feels swelled, like if I push on it it'll hurt. So I thought maybe its gas? But now its 5am and went to the restroom and my bleeding spilled out of my underwear and i notice very small blood clots. Im extremely worried, because I googled it and I read blood clots can be life treating?!

I going to the Dr once it opens today. I just hope Im in over my head.🙏
