My daughter will be two weeks old on Sunday and when she nurses she will nurse for forty five minutes to an hour at a time. Is this normal for a newborn to eat this much? I don't know how many ounces exactly being she's breast feeding but I know she's getting quite a bit at a time because I can hear her gulp and she's eating every couple hours or she will go like five hours sleeping won't wake up for anything then will binge nurse for like four or so hours then sleep again. Did anyone else's new babies do this?
