Chiropractic therapy & pregnancy?

Has anyone ever recieved chiropractic therapy during their pregnancies? Was it benefitial at all? Is it recommended & safe?

You just have to find one who knows how to treat someone pregnant. There's lots of them! They will have a special pillow for you to use. I went and it helped for the first day but then made it worse so I choose not to go back. But MANY women find it extremely helpful! It's definitely worth the try to see if it's going to help!!!!!

Yes at the beginning i had the horrible lower back/hip pain where i could barely walk. I dont think it helped much. Finally went away on its own after about 50 days

Yes, it's incredible. Go to a place that includes massages with your adjustments. Amazing, especially in the third trimester!

Yes, just make sure the chiropractor knows that your pregnant and knows what they're doing.

I've been seeing a chiropractor since late September/early October and it's been a life saver!  Just make sure whoever you go to has experience working on pregnant women.

I was adjusted by my chiropractor last week at 25 weeks, and it was very beneficial as I had shoulder stiffness and back pain. He advised me that not only did he adjust his wife during pregnancy up until the day of delivery, he also adjusted his two babies in the delivery room.
