tips to help baby burp any1??

Question

My boy doesn't burp easy.we try all the typical positions -over the shoulder,sitting bent forwards On my chest.but no burp.we hold him up for at least half an hr and sometimes he spits up after that too .whatvto do any advice?

Resting him belly down over a boppy and patting his back works for my LO. But now he knows how to make himself burp if I just lay him on my chest and recline back he will lift up his head and chest and he'll burp.

My newest little one is the same way. The first 2 were super easy. This little guy only burps if i hold him upright and jump up and down then pat his back, then jump up and down, and so on until the air makes its way up.  The older they get the easier it'll be for them.

Mine has been difficult to burp also and he's 11 wks now. I've figured out rubbing his left side in an upward motion while you are holding him upright or just putting pressure on his left side while sitting upright will often help get the burp up cause that's where their little stomach is 😉

Feeding at a slight angle, doing tummy time, and using a firmer hand while patting the back helps gets the burps out for us.

If my guy doesn't burp after about 10 minutes I'll either rub where his tummy is or put him face down on my knees and try that way. He usually burps while I'm holding him to my chest though. Don't be afraid to pat him a little harder on the back though. They won't break

Do you breastfeed? Breastfed babies don't always burp. 
Try squeezing gently on both sides under her ribcage or rotating her upper body in a circle while she sits on your leg, then try patting her back on your leg, then on your shoulder. Usually I'll get one burp out of my lo if we do this a couple times. Hope you figure something out. 👍

I lay my baby down for a few seconds almost a minute or two really and then I pick her up and she. Burps  like crazy but I'm constantly burping her. I've just started using gripe water today to see if I see any changes soon.

Is he bothered my his wind. This baby is but her brother wasn't. He was quite happy to lie and pump it all out. If it's not bothering baby I wouldn't worry too much
