do you think 1275 is too much for rent?

My boyfriend and I just signed the lease to a towmhouse with monthly rent of being 1275 not including utilities. But we have a two car garage, 2.5 bathrooms, nice kitchen, living room, and dining room as well as two bedrooms with walk in closets. Everyone keeps telling us were stupid and being pregnant it's just really upsetting me. Everyone's telling us we should stay at home and get free help from his parents but his moms a lot to deal with, I know she means well with everything but we needed our own place anyway. We did all calculations with rent, utilities, gas, groceries, savings, and fun money taken out of our income and we'd have around 800 left over I put away 1,000 a month now in my savings and still have plenty left over and we're splitting rent and utilities in half so we'd each pay 750 a month give/take... Are we dumb or should we be proud to be able to afford it and provide for our little girl on the way? That's the biggest thing to me. I just want to provide for my baby girl.
