Baby laundry soap?

Is it necessary to have baby laundry soap? Ive heard yes because its gentler and ive heard no because the baby will be touching my clothing and others clothes so whatever i use should be fine. Im just a little confused right now & Just trying to wash his clothes so i can pack a hospital bag.

I heard the same thing but at the end of the day it's ur decision. I decided to use baby soap bc I have sensitive skin n I don't kno if baby will so I used it to be on the safe side

I didn't get the expensive detergent. I just went with tide free and clear to be safe.

No it's not necessary but you can if you want. Or you can use a regular "free and clear" detergent if you're worried. I use our regular detergent and do an extra rinse cycle if needed. If baby has a reaction then we will switch but soap is soap, the "baby" part is used to mark up the price sadly.

Its up to you its not needed since the baby will be touching everything washed in regular soap so it really defeats the purpose other than spending money on baby specific soap i have sensitive skin i use extra soap and downy softener and it works for me

They have regular all free and clear and tide free and clear if you would rather switch to that
