Telling parents we are pregnant???

Question

So I took two tests that both came out positive. After having two miscarriages my fiancé and I are so excited! We've been together over 3 years and have lived on our own for over a year. I'm 19 and he is 23. Is it too early to tell our parents? Any ideas on how to tell them?

We told our moms at 7 weeks and I was glad we did. My first trimester was really difficult for me and it was nice to have the support of my mom and mother in law. It's a really personal choice, though.

We told our parents the same week we found out. If something did to happen (such as miscarriage) we would have wanted them to know that too. We didn't tell anyone else though, just our parents.

I personally waited until we got a confirmed heartbeat because I didn't want everyone getting all excited until we knew it was a viable pregnancy. I lost 1 of my 4 pregnancies as a missed miscarriage around 8 weeks  we did tell them about the loss but after the fact so they weren't already excited about the pregnancy. Just a preference.
