Named after Spider-Man?

My boyfriends last name is Parker, and I happen to love the name Peter as well as Spider-Man being on of my favorite movies/super heroes growing up.. so I threw the name Peter Parker out and he's not on board.. my mom absolutely loves it. We have several names in the running, just curious on what you ladies think of the name Peter Parker. 😊

I like it, but I'm a sucker for super heros of any kind. However, if your SO isn't on board maybe you could have a middle name that allows a little leeway for nicknames? I'm fresh out of ideas but
 Peter _ Parker and use the middle name?

Together it's cute.  Spider man is super popular.  Only issue is he's going to just be introduced as Peter in school.  First thing that comes to mind is getting teased and it's not one of those names that sounds good for an adult as well as a kid.  Cute idea though.

I like the name Peter but it may bother him when he's older and people comment on it or tease him. I personally would avoid it just because your son might not like the association as an adult.

I know 3 guys named Peter Parker. Both the first and last name are super common so I don't think it's as recognizable as other names like Bruce Wayne or something 😂
