Ovarian cyst vs PCOS

So I went to the ER for what I thought was my appendix. The ER doctor told me I had a cyst on my ovary that ruptured, gave me pain killers and sent me on my way. Suggested I see a gyno. I'm only 16 and have never been. I'm not sexually active or even in a relationship and my mom is against birth control. Is having a cyst rupture like this a sign of me having PCOS? I know it's a ways a way but I want kids some day and see so many women with it stuggle to get pregnant. I felt weird asking him to many questions because he was so rude.
